There’s just something about a hot piece of pizza and an icy cold glass of beer. At least that’s the thinking behind one place in Shelburne.
Cohen was the head brewer at Magic Hat for 13 years before opening Fiddlehead — named after young edible ferns that many Vermonter’s love. You can only find Fiddlehead beers on draft at some local bars — and of course — at the brewery. “Whether you’re new to craft beer or enjoyed it for a long time, Fiddlehead can check the box for both of those consumers,” Cohen said. “When we opened we were hoping to make 500 barrels and we ended up producing 1,600 barrels, so we had a successful first year and we’re looking to double this year.”
Not only are these businesses next to each other, but Follinos is BYOB, so that means you can take your Fiddlehead right in and enjoy — what some say — is the perfect combo.
